Flashback This Weekend In Marlborough

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Formed 12 years ago, this five piece from Marlborough has not only stayed together than most, but time to perfect their show.

Flashback nails a long list of oldies from the '60s and '70s, which includes everything from Motown to country to rock. The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Brooks and Dunn and Darius Rucker are all included in their setlists.

"People can sing and they know all our songs, and it brings back memories," says Founder Paul Giardina, who joins Jeff Chapman, Jim Rennie, Darrel Jackman and Jon Teidiman to round out the group.

Flashback plays Saturday, May 20, at the Italian American Club on Neil Street in Marlborough from 7:30-11 p.m.

"The band members all grew up in that era, so that is why we gravitated to this type of music," said Giardina. "It's music that never died."

Flashback just finished up a three-day show at Fenway Park before the Red Sox games, the band's fourth year playing at the park. Flashback plays the summer concerts in Marlborough, Hudson, Ashland, 3rd Saturday of each month at the Marlborough Italian American Club and the Heritage Fairs.
