Golf At Marlborough Country Club Resumes Friday
Under new state guidelines, golf courses across Massachusetts are being allowed to reopen.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Marlborough Country Club is among the dozens of golf courses that plan to reopen this weekend following new guidelines issued by the state Department of Public Health on Thursday.
Golf courses had been closed due to coronavirus, but now golf will be allowed under very specific guidelines. Marlborough Country Club general manager Greg Martzolf told Patch members will be able to tee off on Friday, but will have to walk the course.
"Private operators of golf courses may permit individuals access to the property so long as there are no gatherings of any kind, appropriate social distancing of six feet between individuals is strictly followed, and the business operator and golfers abide by the specific guidelines," DPH wrote in an updated guideline on Thursday.
