Hats And Music Used To Promote Character For Jaworek Students
"I've been delivering my character education message to children through song and interactive dialogue for the past 27 years."

MARLBOROUGH, MA – In a dynamic performance on November 21 by “Johnny the K,” Jaworek elementary school students were captivated by Johnny Kelleher’s performance about the importance of character. A former fourth grade teacher in Everett and stand-up comedian, Kelleher now brings his strong commitment to teaching character education to children in live performances that actively engage students to understand big ideas like tolerance, diversity, anti-bullying, respect, and kindness.
By wearing unique costumed hats and disguises that link to specific songs, award winning performer Kelleher incorporates valuable lessons along with songs, movement, and a colorful slide show that “edutains” children. “I’ve been delivering my character education message to children through song and interactive dialogue for the past 27 years,” smiled Kelleher. “I share my show with children from preschool through sixth grade and cater to the age of the children.”

Jaworek Principal, Ron Sanborn, supports and applauds Kelleher’s strong character education show. “This is our second year having Kelleher at Jaworek; he knows how to connect with the students and reinforces our school’s code of behavior, which incorporates respect, kindness, and acceptance.” Kelleher’s November 21 performance that promoted good character and celebrating differences and similarities, is surely a powerful message to share with students prior to the Thanksgiving holiday.
