Knock, Knock, Go Away: Marlborough Creates No-Solicit Registry

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Much like the "do not call" list for your phone, Marlborough's police department is compiling a "do not knock" registry for residents.

This registry, said police, allows residents to submit their name, address, telephone number and email address for a list that will be provided to all individuals and companies who are issued a solicitation permit through the Police Department.

Anyone who gets a permit to solicit in the city then gets a registry list of the locations where solicitation is not allowed.

Do you want to add your name? Go here. Don't worry. Should you find that you miss having folks coming to your door to try to sell you things, or collect signatures, you can remove your name.
