Major Water Main Break Hits Marlborough Commercial Area

Businesses along Donald Lynch Boulevard may be without water for up to 10 hours.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A major water main break was affecting one of Marlborough's busiest commercial areas on Tuesday.

The break was reported near 150 Donald Lynch Boulevard, and forced the city to shut off water to businesses between that address and the Hudson town line northeast of I-495.

Some of the affected businesses included the New England Sports Center and the Marriott Residence Inn. Marlborough public works officials said the water main repair could last up to 10 hours.
