2020 was Marlborough's third annual holiday lights contest, and 13 local homes were nominated as best in town. Over the past week, Mayor Arthur Vigeant, executive aide Patricia Bernard and mayoral assistant Michelle O'Brien drove around to view the nominees and picked these homes as the best:
- First place: 122 Linda Circle (pictured)
- Runner-up: 34 Williams St.
- Honorable mentions: 41 Ridge Road; 43 Franklin St.; 379 Sudbury St.; and 84 Crosby Road.
The owner of 122 Linda Circle will get a $100 gift certificate to any restaurant in the city, and the runner-up gets a $50 gift certificate, both donated by Vigeant.
