Marlborough Boy, His Mom, Both Score Hat Tricks On Same Night

MARLBOROUGH, MA—On Sunday night, 12-year-old Oliver Harris of Marlborough scored a hat trick (which is three goals) for his Triboro hockey team. And his mother, Kristen Harris, also scored her first ever hat trick that same night.

Kristen plays for the SSWHL South Shore Women's Hockey League on her team the Goal Diggers, and won their game 4-0.

"It's not often a mom and her son score a hat trick in the same day," said Jacqui Carroll, Kristen's teammate. "I had to buy them hats, as promised."
