Marlborough Leaf, Yard Waste Collection Begins This Week

The two-week yard waste collection period in Marlborough kicked off on Nov. 23.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — If you haven't been on to off your fall yard cleanup, now's the time to get to work.

Marlborough's 2020 yard waste and leaf collection period began on Monday and will run for two weeks through Dec. 4. The city will collect all yard waste — except grass clippings — in biodegradable paper begs left curbside.

Bags of yard waste should be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on the Monday of each week, according to the Department of Public Works. Yard waste bags can't be over 50 pounds.
