Marlborough Down To One Free Coronavirus Testing Site
The remaining test site at the New England Sports Center is set to close on Jan. 15, but officials say they are working on an extension.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough is now down to one free coronavirus testing site after one run by AFC Urgent Care closed last week, and the remaining Stop the Spread site is set to close by Jan. 15.
The AFC Urgent Care site had been open to Marlborough residents and city employers. AFC will still offer tests, but residents will have to either pay out of pocket or through an insurer. Marlborough had been using federal stimulus funds for the site, but that money has run out, officials said.
The remaining site is run by Marlborough Hospital and is located at the New England Sports Center. Otherwise, city officials are recommending residents seek testing at either the new site in Framingham or the two testing sites in Worcester.
