Marlborough Police Confirm Black Bear Sighting

MARLBOROUGH, MA - The Marlborough Police Department confirms that over the past few days a black bear has been spotted in the area of Route 20 West, close to the Northborough line.

"Based on the calls/reports the bear doesn’t appear to be injured or sick," police said.

Route 20 West borders a heavily wooded area, so "the bear appears to be acting in its natural habitat."

Police checked the area and did confirm tracks. There is no cause for alarm, police say.
