One Of America's Best Restaurants, Right In Your Backyard

MARLBOROUGH, MA — In a neighborhood west of downtown Marlborough, tucked between two conveniences stores, you'll find one of the best restaurants in the United States.

Pruller Restaurant, an "unfussy" Brazilian BBQ spot, took the No. 76 spot on Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat list released this week. Pruller was one of just three Massachusetts restaurants to make the list (and beat Brockton's JJ's Caffe by two spots).

Pruller earned the ranking not just through reviews, but also input from local experts.

"To determine Yelp’s Top Places to Eat in 2020, Yelp’s data science team pulled the top restaurants by ratings and number of reviews in 2019 across the U.S., with representation based on each place’s share of top-rated restaurants nationally, then curated the list with the expertise of our community managers around the country to finalize the rankings," Yelp said of the methodology.

But, Pruller's reviews are great. The restaurant gets high marks for the food, but also having low prices.

"Found this hidden gem of a churrascaria on my way up the highway from out of town. My husband is Brazilian, and kilo style eating is a big deal for him," wrote a Yelp reviewer who stopped on a trip up from New York City. "This place was the real deal."

Pruller Restaurant is located at 514 Lincoln St.; Monday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
