Marlborough School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The first day of school in Marlborough is August 29 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Marlborough School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/6: First Day of School for ECC and Kindergarten

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/25: Early Release Day (Pre-K-12)

November

• 11/6: No School (Professional Development Day)
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day Observance)
• 11/21 - 23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/22: No School (Professional Development Day)
• 1/31: No Pre-K Classes

February

• 2/18 - 2/22: No School (President’s Day)

March

• 3/7: Early Release Day (All Grades)

April

• 4/15-4/19: No School (Patriot's Day)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/6: No Pre-K
• 6/9: MHS Graduation
• 6/14: Last Day of School/Early Release
