Marlborough Sets Christmas Tree Pickup Schedule
Here's how to dispose of your Christmas tree in Marlborough after Dec. 25.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Not long after Christmas, all those nicely wrapped gifts underneath your tree will be replaced by dry pine needles. And that means you'll be looking for a way to get that once-charming Christmas tree out of your house.
The city of Marlborough will be conducting a special curbside collection in early January. All you have to do is put your tree at the curb between Jan. 6 and Jan. 17 for it to be collected. The tree collection will be separate from normal Tuesday trash pickup.
But if you can't wait until Jan. 6, the city is setting up five spots around town where you can drop off your Christmas tree. The locations are:

- Memorial Beach parking lot near Causeway and Hosmer streets
- Ghiloni Park rear entrance, 265 Boston Post Road East
- Parking area across from Kelleher Field, 45 Jefferson St.
- Jericho parking lot, 410 Brigham St.
- Felton Conservation Area parking lot, 798 Elm St.
