Marlborough Taxpayers Fund 5 Scholarships In 2021

The $1,000 scholarships are paid for through residents and businesses donating via tax bills.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A group of seniors graduating in Marlborough in 2021 will get $1,000 scholarships, and local taxpayers are largely to thank.

Each year, Marlborough collects voluntary donations through tax bills to fund the upcoming year's scholarships. The awards are open to Marlborough residents only.

Graduating seniors can apply for the scholarships through April 23. The city's Scholarship Committee will review each applicant and select five seniors to award the money to. The application can be found on the city's website.
