MARLBOROUGH, MA — It hasn't snowed much yet, but Marlborough's annual winter is still going into effect soon.

The overnight ban begins Dec. 1 and lasts until mid-March. Under the ban, on-street parking is prohibited between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night. Violators will be ticketed.

There are several streets that are exempt from the ban, including: High Street; Brown Street; Brook Street; Emmett Street (from South Street west); and Ringold Street. However, those streets are included in the ban when a snowstorm is either predicted to happening or in process, or when the Department of Public Works is plowing snow.
