Marlborough's Strange Brew Announces Closing Date
The brewery and home brew store will close in early March, but not before a closing day party, according to the owner.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — After announcing an impending closure earlier this month, Marlborough's Strange Brewery and home-brew store has revealed its closing date.
The home brew store and Strange Brewery are located inside a retail space at 416 Boston Post Road East. The brewery will close March 14, while the home-brew store will close on March 11.
Strange Brew announced on Feb. 11 morning that it would close and sell off its remaining inventory. The closure also means that Marlborough's newest brewer, Tackle Box Brewery, would have to relocate. The beer businesses share the same space along Boston Post Road.

The home-brew store will is having a sale before closing. Ingredients are 10 percent off, and most of the remaining inventory will be half-off. The brewery is also planning a closing party ahead of March 14.
