MetroWest Boys & Girls Clubs Launch New Youth Education Campaign

The "A Boost For Youth" campaign wants to make up for losses due to school being canceled over coronavirus.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest recently kicked off a new campaign aimed at providing supplemental learning for local students who have been home from school due to coronavirus closures.

The "A Boost For Youth" campaign aims to provide one-on-one tutoring and some group learning activities to young people who use the Boys & Girls Clubs in Marlborough, Framingham, and Hudson.

"Our Boost For Youth campaign is special because it supports the immediate needs of the youth we serve," Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest President Chris Duane said in a news release. "While we have been connecting with our members throughout this closure, our staff are looking forward to seeing members back in our buildings very soon."

Schools across MetroWest and Massachusetts have been closed since March when the coronavirus pandemic hit the area.
