Newlywed Missing In Costa Rica Is Hudson Native
The man was swept away with his new wife in flood waters. She swam safely to shore; he did not.

HUDSON, MA—The Massachusetts man who was swept away in flood waters in Costa Rica during his honeymoon is from Hudson, according to reports.
John Byrne, 30, had just gotten married to his wife Bianca in New Hampshire and were honeymooning in an area called Playa Cominicalito in Costa Rica when a flash flood swept themaway from a bridge, reports WCVB-TV. Bianca swam to shore safely; Byrne did not.
The Tico Times reports that Byrne's family has flown in to the area to assist in the search.

A $5,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can help lead to the discovery of Byrne, reports WMUR.
