NJ Man, Dog Die In Crash Along I-495
The man was driving near Bolton Monday night when he swerved to a void an animal in the roadway, state police said.
BOLTON, MA — A 31-year-old man from New Jersey and a dog died in a single-vehicle crash along I-495 in Bolton on Monday night, according to state police.
The crash happened near 8:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes when Seyhan Isik, of Bogota, N.J., swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway, state police said. Isik's Mini Cooper went off the highway and crashed into a tree.
A 30-year-old woman from New York City was riding in the passenger seat. She was transported to UMass Medical Center in Worcester with minor injuries.

Isik, the dog and the passenger were all wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, state police said.
