Northborough Woman Charged After Fight In Marlborough Home

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough police arrested and charged a Northborough woman early Tuesday morning after interrupting a fight in an apartment.

According to police, officers went to the Wayside Apartments along the Boston Post Road near 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a disturbance involving a woman. When officers got the third-floor apartment, they found Brianna Tibbitts, 20, pulling another woman's hair and punching her, a police spokesman said.

When officers handcuffed Tibbitts, they found her in possession of prescription Xanax pills, according to police.

Tibbitts was charged with assault and battery and possession of a Class E substance, police said.
