Now Open: 2020 Digital Federal Credit Union Scholarships
Marlborough-based DCU is accepting applications for its annual scholarship program. Over $150,000 will be awarded in 2020.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough-based Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU) has opened its annual scholarship program to applicants. The scholarships are for any local graduating senior who plans to attend a two or four-year college.
In 2020, DCU will give out about $165,000 in scholarships. Individual scholarships will be as high as $2,500. The application deadline is March 6.

For over 20 years, Digital Federal Credit Union, better known as DCU, has provided a scholarship program designed to assist students in the pursuit of a higher education with over $1 million in scholarships being awarded. Students in their senior year of high school who will be attending a state or nationally accredited college or university in the fall of 2020 are now able to apply for the Annual DCU Memorial Scholarship Program.
These scholarships are awarded on academic merit, teachers’ references, an original essay, awards and recognition, and extracurricular and community service activities. An impartial panel of college educators will judge the participants’ entries. In 2020, DCU will award up to $165,000 in scholarships. All funds are distributed through the DCU for Kids Foundation.

Applications and all supporting materials are due on or before Friday, March 6, 2020, by 3 p.m. Eastern Time and must be submitted electronically. Any materials received after the deadline date will not be sent for judging. Scholarship winners will be notified in early May.
