Outdoor Dining In Marlborough: Which Restaurants Have Approval

More than two dozen restaurants in Marlborough have either applied or received approval to offer outdoor dining, according to city records.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — With phase 2 of the reopening plan in effect, restaurants across Massachusetts are beginning to emerge from the coronavirus shutdown with outdoor dining options.

But restaurants can't just put tables outside and call it good. Cities and towns across the state — including Marlborough — have permitting processes in place. Although the process has been sped up, restaurants across the city are in various stages of getting approval to open outdoor dining space.

Patch spoke to Marlborough officials to find out which restaurants have received approvals, and which ones are still making their way through the process. Here's what we found out:

Remember: if you're planning to dine outdoors at a restaurant, call first to see if you need to make a reservation. Gov. Charlie Baker's mask order is still in effect, which means you should wear one as much as possible while dining.
