Over 4,000 People Lose Power in Marlborough

MARLBOROUGH, MA- High winds are taking their toll on the state and Marlborough was hit particularly hard with 4135 customers out of power in the city, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. That is 21 percent of the customers in that area.

The number of outages dwindled down to 373 by 8 p.m. according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency.

The whole state experienced heavy outages Monday with 56,000 reported at 8 p.m. Wind speeds ranging from 46 mph to nearly 60 mph have been reported across the state this morning. The National Weather Service says the strongest winds are expected this afternoon.
