Phantom Gourmet Features The Vin Bin
'They come for the wines, but stay for the sandwiches.'

MARLBROUGH, MA -- They come for the wines, but stay for the “soul satisfying sandwiches.”
The Phantom Gourmet glowed about the Vin Bin, filming from its downtown Marlborough location.
“When it comes to all things boozy or served in a bun, you’re pretty sure to find it at The Vin Bin,” said the Phantom. “With locations in Southborough and this one set inside an old firehouse in downtown Marlborough, The Vin Bin lights up the local’s palates with specialty sandwiches created by Chef Michael Lombardi, and wines from across the globe, all carefully selected by his father Rick.”

The show focused on sandwiches such as the smoked ham and spicy BLT, but also the famous meatball sandwich, filled with the meatballs from the guarded Lombari family recipe.
The Vin Bin opened 11 years ago, and was half the size it is today. Evolving into a larger space, Michael brought in the sandwich shop, saying, “when we did it, it did make sense.”
