Providence Bruins Will Play 2020-21 Season In Marlborough
The Providence Bruins' home at the Dunkin' Donuts Center is being used for coronavirus testing.

MARLBOROUGH, MA —The Providence Bruins are coming to Marlborough.
The Rhode Island-based team will play its 2020-21 season at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough. The team's home Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence is being used for coronavirus purposes this winter.
The exact 2020-21 season dates have not been released yet, but the abbreviated season should last from early February until May, according to the team.

Unlike the Pawtucket Red Sox move to Worcester, the Providence Bruins will only be in Marlborough temporarily, Bruins President Cam Neely said.
"Given the unprecedented circumstances, we are very grateful that the New England Sports Center can host the team this season, and we look forward to the Bruins’ return to Providence, not only for the 21-22 season, but for many more to come," Neely said.

The Providence Bruins play in the American Hockey League's Atlantic Division. The team, whose parent is the Boston Bruins, has been home to pro players like Tuukka Rask, Tim Thomas and Brad Marchand.
The New England Sports Center boasts that it's the largest ice skating complex in North America, featuring eight rinks, restaurants and a shopping mall. The complex is located near the I-290-I-495 intersection along Donald Lynch Boulevard.
