Rains Giving Way To Rays: Westborough's Weekend Weather

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Remember, we needed this rain. It's offsetting drought conditions that have stemmed from early in the summer.

This weekend looks to start out wet, but get sunnier as it progresses. There is a flood watch for much of Massachusetts issued through Friday at 8 p.m. By Sunday, you might feel compelled to head outside and fly a kite.

Here's the latest from the National Weather Service for the area:

• Friday: A chance of showers in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52.
• Friday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.
• Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 50.
• Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 35.
• Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 58.
• Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40.
