Spring In Marlborough: Dairy Queen, Car Wash Lines, Harleys

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Spring is here and slowly but surely the days are growing warmer. But what makes it spring in Marlborough? Patch asked you in a Facebook post and boy, did we get a response.

Other than the warm temperatures melting what snow is left on the ground, answers varied including the site of street sweepers moving up and down the roads. We did get a few popular answers that stood out:

Quite a few people look forward to treating themselves to Blizzard from DQ once spring time rolls around. Lucky for them Marlborough's Dairy Queen, located at 49 East Main St. opened March 12 this season, about a week before the official start to spring. But who needs a calendar to tell them when to enjoy an Oreo Blizzard.

You know it's spring in Marlborough when there's a long line of cars at the car wash.

There's something refreshing about washing all that salt from the winter months off your car at the start of spring- spring cleaning.

You know its spring in Marlborough when the Harleys and Hot Rods come out.

The bikers come out when its spring in Marlborough, taking advantage of the warmer weather. If you spot a Harley passing through downtown, you know its a nice day out.
