Throwing Star Used In Attack Along Marlborough Rail Trail
A juvenile was injured Tuesday afternoon in an attack involving pepper spray and a sharp throwing star, according to Marlborough police.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Two people wielding pepper spray and a throwing star attacked and injured a juvenile along the Assabet Rail Trail in Marlborough on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
The incident happened just before 2:30 p.m. along Hudson Street near Kelleher Field. The victim and another young person were walking along the rail trail when the two attackers drove by.
A 24-year-old Framingham man got out of the car and pepper-sprayed the victim according to police. Meanwhile, an 18-year-old woman from Marlborough used a throwing star to cut the victim, police said.

According to police, the attack stemmed from an "ongoing feud." The two attackers were arrested and both charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to Marlborough police.
