Marlborough Native's Quest For Olympic Gold Falls Short

In a close one, Slovenia beat the United States in the preliminary round. Marlborough native Bobby Butler played on the U.S. team.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—At 2-2, the game went into overtime, with Slovenia ultimately claiming the gold 3-2 in the preliminary round of hockey at the PyeongChong 2018 Winter Olympics.

Bobby Butler, a star at Marlborough High School now on the Milwaukee Admirals, had the privilege of playing on the U.S. Men's Hockey team.

Butler, a forward, got nearly 15 minutes of ice time in the game, and a couple of shots in. Here are his stats.
