Weather Postpones Polar Plunge For Special Olympics, Marlborough
It was too cold and wet to hold the Polar Plunge, which is cold and wet. The event has been rescheduled.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—The Polar Plunge scheduled for this weekend was rescheduled due to the weather, but is happening next weekend.
The plunge,originally scheduled for Saturday at the Yawkey Sports Training Center in Marlborough, is now happening on Saturday, March 17, at the Yawkey Sports Training Center in Marlborough, from 9 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Join Special Olympics Massachusetts and the Marlborough Police Department in jumping into the icy, cold water to help provide nearly 12,000 athletes with an opportunity to participate in programs that help them live a longer, happier, healthier life through sports programs.

If that date doesn’t work, plungers are invited to take part in one of the remaining Polar Plunges in Revere on Saturday, March 17, in New Bedford on March 24, or in Littleton on April 7.
