Winter Parking Ban In City Of Marlborough

'During that period, on-street parking is prohibited from 11:00pm to 6:00am every night.'

"The City's overnight parking ban goes into effect every year on December 1st and will continue through March 15th the following year. During that period, on-street parking is prohibited from 11:00pm to 6:00am every night. Vehicles violating the ban are subject to issuance of a parking ticket. Additionally, vehicles that interfere with snow or ice removal operations are subject to towing and storage at the owner's expense.

OVERNIGHT PARKING BAN - EXCEPTIONS.

Pursuant to the authority granted to me by the City Code and the Rules and Regulations of the Traffic Commission, I hereby grant the following exceptions to the overnight parking ban, subject to the conditions indicated below.

A. EXCEPTIONS GRANTED FOR:

High Street;

Brown Street;

Brook Street;

Emmett Street (from South Street westerly to dead end).

Ringold Street

B. CONDITIONS: The granted exceptions shall not apply:

When a snow or ice storm has been predicted;

When a snow or ice storm is actually occurring;

During post-storm plowing or clearing operations by the DPW."
