American Idol Results: Martha's Vineyard's Sonika Vaid Makes Top 6
Martha's Vineyard's Sonika Vaid could very well be the next "American Idol."

MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — Martha's Vineyard's Sonika Vaid may just well be the next "American Idol."
Vaid, 20, on Thursday night advanced to the final group of six in the singing competition.
Vaid sang twice Thursday during the live show. Her cover of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" at the end of the show earned her a spot in the final six.

Earlier Thursday, Vaid sang a duet with Avalon Young.

Young and Lee Jean were eliminated Thursday.
The final six include Vaid, MacKenzie Bourg, Trent Harmon, Tristan McIntosh, Dalton Rapattoni, and La’Porsha Renae to move on next week.
