Another Wind Advisory For Island Means Ferry Cancellations

Strong winds and high seas mean no boats between Woods Hole and Vineyard Haven

There is a Wind Advisory issued until midnight tonight for the Island and all of southern New England into southern New Hampshire. The strong, damaging winds will be from the southwest at 20-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph

As of 3:45 pm, the Steamship Authority has cancelled boats between Woods Hole and the Island through 8:30 pm tonight.
