Going out to dinner with kids can either be a blast or a nightmare. Much of that depends on how “Family Friendly” a restaurant is. There are a few needs that parents have when choosing which establishment to take their kids out for dinner. These are different for every family, but include such items as, free crayons and paper (and maybe even a toy); a kids’ menu that includes French fries and a burger with cheese (and nothing else, please); the possibility of a Shirley Temple with an umbrella and, most importantly, other diners who don’t care about the 2-year-old that needs to circle the restaurant for hours sucking on the above mentioned French fry.
