Boston Comics Perform at Harbor View Tonight
Three Headliners, sure to split your sides, take the stage at the Harbor View's first Comedy Night
The has been open for 120 years, so you can safely assume that there have been a few funny people inside its halls. However, tonight the Harbor View presents its first official Comedy Night with three headliners from the Boston Area. Dick Doherty, Mike McCarthy and Harrison Stebbins have been making folks from all over laugh for years.
Dick Doherty's 45-year long career has taken him on a whirlwind tour around the world. He started out as a New England happy-hour Super Star in the early 60's and moved on to headline shows at New York's renowned Copacabanna Club in the 70's. Since his first performance at The Improv at Merv Griffin's Resorts International, Atlantic City in the 80's, Dick has established himself as a powerhouse on the national comedy scene with a devilish yet lovable style that has continued to endear him to comedy audiences of all ages.
Mike McCarthy has been seen on Showtime and Comedy Central. He is known throughout the industry as the Comedy Barbarian. McCarthy is also part of the Irish Comedy Tour and is said to be unrelenting in his ability to make audiences laugh.

Harrison Stebbins is known for his sarcastic wit and an improvisational style. His unique blend of high-energy physical comedy and clever insights keeps audiences laughing long after he has left the stage.
Elizabeth Rothwell, Director of Marketing and Events for the Harbor View said, “Attendees can look forward to a fun night of comedy in the setting of our Main Dining Room, Water Street. I hope people will use this event as an opportunity to gather with heir friends and an excuse to get out of the house on a Friday night in January."
