Call to Artists

Artists rejoice, spring is right around the corner, and then comes the Family Planning Art Show to kick off the summer season.

Preparations have begun for this year’s Annual Friends of Family Planning Art Show Benefit which takes place May 25-27, 2012 Memorial Day weekend.  New artists are invited to participate and returning artists are welcomed back.  Paintings, all media and furniture, pottery, three-dimensional art, jewelry and weaving are all encouraged at this show.

The Gala on Thursday May 24, 2012 has become the must go-to event to start the season and is known to be a great showcase for new work of all kinds.  

If you are interested in submitting your work please call Marston Clough (693-9190) to request an application.  The deadline for applications is April 16, 2012.   Applications will be sent to all returning artists.

Friends of Family Planning aids and supports the programs of the Family Planning Clinic of Martha’s Vineyard.   This is our biggest benefit and fundraiser and helps the organization to continue to financially assist the Island’s only Family Planning Clinic.
