Cape Cod's First Chick-fil-A Opening Next Week

A grand opening has been set next week for Cape Cod's first Chick-fil-A.

BARNSTABLE, MA — The first Chick-fil-A on Cape Cod will open in Barnstable next week. The new restaurant is located at 155 Enterprise Road in Hyannis. It will be the sixth Chick-fil-A in Massachusetts.

The Hyannis location is set to open Wednesday, November 30.

The company is hiring about 70 full- and part-time workers for the Hyannis store. Franchisee Annemarie Reissner, a Cape Cod resident, will operate the restaurant.

"I always had an entrepreneurial passion, so I began looking into Chick-fil-A,” Reissner said in a statement. “I realized that although I never thought my path would lead to selling chicken, my desire to make a difference in the daily lives of those around me led me to do just that.”

The Hyannis store will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Chick-fil-A has over 2,000 restaurants across the country; its five other Massachusetts locations are in Peabody, Burlington, Chicopee, Westborough, and Framingham.
