Disabled Martha's Vineyard Ferry Set To Return To Service
The ferry Martha's Vineyard lost power with about 80 passengers on board during the middle of a run.

MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — A ferry that lost power off Martha's Vineyard with about 80 passengers aboard earlier this month is set to return to service this week. The ferry Martha's Vineyard, operated by The Steamship Authority, became disabled in the middle of a run March 17 and had to be towed back to port.
The ferry has been repaired and the Coast Guard is set to inspect the vessel Tuesday before it reenters service, possibly as soon as Wednesday. The ferry Sankaty has operated in the vessel's place.
