Edgartown Returns To Coronavirus Red Zone
The town reported 51 cases in the last two weeks.

MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — Edgartown has been designated a coronavirus red zone once again after reporting 51 new cases in the past two weeks.
The "red zone" label means Edgartown is at the highest risk of virus transmission and has reported more than 25 total cases in a population of less than 10,000 people within seven days.
Thursday's statistics from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health reveal that there have been 192 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Edgartown, with more than 25% of all cases reported since Dec. 31.

Edgartown currently has an average daily incidence rate of 89.2 and a positivity rate of 7.56%, a significant increase from last week's average daily incidence rate of 35 and positivity rate of 3.63%.
Oak Bluffs and Tisbury are also currently in the COVID-19 red zone. Oak Bluffs has reported a total of 149 cases, with 32 reported in the last two weeks, and Tisbury has reported a total of 192 cases, with 47 reported in the last two weeks.
