3. Today is the last day to nominate a new West Tisbury Poet Laureate. Forms are available at the and require the nominator’s name and contact information along with the nominee’s name and contact information. It is a municipal appointment with a term of one year (renewable up to three). The poet is asked to write one poem per year to be printed in the Town Report. A committee comprised of two West Tisbury Free Public librarians and a community member will select the winner and the Town Selectmen will make the final appointment in April 2012
