Today you can meet the candidates in Edgartown, kids can take a free puppeteering class and there is a community autism resources training at MVCS

1. Today is the last day to vote in our Readers’ Choice Best of Patch Best Sandwich poll. Make sure to vote for your favorite place and tell your friends (and co-workers) to vote too. 3. Kids ages 6 and up can come to a free Puppeteering Class for Kids this afternoon at the in Vineyard Haven. 4 pm - 5 pm. For more information, call 508-696-1933.

4. There is a Community Autism Resources Training this evening in the board room. Learn about communication, social strengths and challenges in autism spectrum disorders. A variety of practical strategies will be discussed for supporting individuals in the home, school and community settings. 5 pm - 7 pm. For more information, call 508-693-7900 ext. 249.

5. Come meet the candidates at Edgartown Candidate Night in the Baylies Room at the tonight. Candidates for local office discuss their views and hold a question and answer session. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters. 7 pm. For more information, call 508-693-3791.
