Martha’s Vineyard Makes Two Best Of Lists
New York Post and Family Vacation Critic include Island on best lists

This week, Family Vacation Critic named Martha’s Vineyard one of the “10 Best Islands in the U.S.” and named the as their recommended hotel.
The Island placed at number eight with the following description:
“The larger of the two summer island destinations off the coast of Massachusetts is 'The Vineyard,' consisting of three distinct areas: Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs and Edgartown, as well as other small communities with their own charm and appeal. Kids can explore lighthouses, kayak freshwater ponds, and bike the miles upon miles of trails through the island's most picturesque towns and vistas. Of course, a trip to our nation's oldest operating carousel is a must; the Flying Horses Carousel is even listed as a National Historic Landmark. The island is rich in music festivals; just bring a blanket to enjoy music under the stars, as well as movies on a town green.”

The Island also topped the New York Post’s “7 Greatest Trips Without a Car” list this week, coming in at number one with the following recommendation:
“Sail away to the Vineyard Hello there, friend! Did you know that you can take a taxi to the pier at the end of East 35th Street on a Friday, hop on a SeaStreak ferry and be in Martha's Vineyard in time for a late bite? No? You do now. You bet it costs money. Like, $230 round-trip. But you know what? This is basically as good as it gets when it comes to a low-fuss, unforgettable weekend away. Everyone should do this once.”
