Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Homes has announced the death on Jan. 8 of Mary E. “Betty” Ortiz, who leaves a large family including four children and their spouses, 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be held in the spring at St. Augustine's in Vineyard Haven.
