Martha's Vineyard Funeral Announcement: Ruth Davin, Entrepreneur and Real Estate Agent
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Massasoit Ave., Oak Bluffs Jan. 22 at 11 a.m.
Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Homes has announced the death on Jan. 16 of Ruth (Burns) Davin, 81, of East Chop.
After selling a successful sports apparel business she had founded in Pennsylvania, according to her obituary, she entered the real estate business and with her husband relocated to the Vineyard in 1994.
Visiting hours in the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, Edgartown Road, Oak Bluffs will be held Jan. 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Massasoit Ave., Oak Bluffs Jan. 22 at 11 a.m. Her burial will be held Jan. 23 at 11:15am in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
