Corruption and incompetence continue unabated on Beacon Hill.

Massachusetts politicians including the legislature and former Governor Deval Patrick destroyed the lives of thousands of people in twenty-one Massachusetts communities with megawatt land-based wind turbines.

US Congressman Thomas M. McClintock took Massachusetts Governor Charles D. Baker Jr. to task regarding the Falmouth wind turbines at a hearing of the House Natural Resources Committee on February 6, 2019.

The Wall Street Journal published an editorial on the wind turbine experiment in Falmouth, Massachusetts, which spent $10 million on wind turbines, a disaster. The courts shut these turbines down.

Governor Baker acknowledged, we just screw up the way we actually implement it, which makes the concept look bad.

The land-based wind turbines went forward in disregard for public health and safety.

Now comes the fishing groups who say there is a lack of coordination and communication between them and ocean wind turbine contractors.

Politicians in Massachusetts are prepared to trade the fishing industry jobs off for the ocean wind projects jobs. The fishing industry wants more spacing between the wind turbines so they can fish.

The two dredged submarine electric cables proposed for Muskeget Channel off Marthas' Vineyard could carry up to 220,000 volts of electricity discharging heat and frequencies changing the marine environment forever. This also sets the stage for future electric cables and electric service platforms within view of Marthas' Vineyard.

It's a fact that Whales use frequencies to identify themselves and travel through the ocean. Massachusetts politicians classified infra-sound as human annoyance prior to the installation of land-based wind turbines. The two types of noise from wind turbines destroyed the lives of thousands in twenty-one Massachusetts communities now marine life.

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection is hearing a rejection by the Edgartown conservation commission for the electric cable through Muskeget Channel. The ocean wind turbine company asked the Southeast MassDEP Regional Office to issue a Superseding Order of Conditions.

MassDEP held a conference call with the conservation board and ocean wind contractors rather than a site visit to the New Bedford ocean wind headquarters. MassDEP informed the public they could listen in on the call but sent the press release out a day late. The public never heard the call. Corruption and incompetence continue unabated on Beacon Hill.

The commercial megawatt wind turbines on land and sea have enormous consequences. The people who value intellectual honesty should not quietly be fleeced by such mendacity, even from their government officials.

Time to slow down. The rush to install 2000 megawatts of land-based wind turbines some financed like Falmouth Wind II was financed by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.

MassDEP is stuck in Regulatory Capture -- a Regulatory capture is a form of government failure which occurs when a regulatory agency, MassDEP, created to act in the public interest, instead advances the commercial or political concerns of the wind industry that it is charged with regulating.
