Now that the Commonwealth’s best private high schools have been ranked, its time to turn attention to Massachusetts’ top public high schools.

A new survey Niche ranks the state’s best public high schools. Below is the list of the top 25, which are scattered across the state. The remainder of the top-100 can be found via the link below.

Lexington High School was voted the state’s best public high school, and the country’s 54th-best public high school.

According to Niche.com, the ranking is “based on statistics, student and parent reviews, and expert insights. Ranking factors include SAT/ACT scores, the quality of colleges that students consider, student-teacher ratio, student and parent reviews, and more.”
