New Year’s Eve Party at Teen Center Tonight

New Year's Eve starts a day early for Island teens this year with a party in the Base at the . This is the first official event that the Teen Center has sponsored since it opened the new facility earlier this month.

The Base is the Performing Arts Center in the basement of the center. It features a DJ booth, stage, dance floor and, according to Teen Center Director, Tony Lombardi, “A brand new digital light show, the only digital light show on the Vineyard.”

Tonight, there will be two DJs and possible live performances. “The event is for all students between the ages of 13-18 only,” said Lombardi.

Lombardi stressed that, “This is a drug and alcohol free event.”

The doors open at 6 pm and the party starts at 7 pm and goes until 11 pm. There is a $5 cover charge, but let them know you read about it on MVPatch and you get in for free!
