Obama Fundraiser to be Held on Martha’s Vineyard with Cast of HBO’s The Wire

According to Barack Obama's campaign Web site, the cast of HBO's "The Wire" will host a fundraiser in support of the Obama Victory Fund on Martha’s Vineyard.

While it doesn’t say whether or not the president will be in attendance, ABC News reported that six of the show's characters will be attending - including Michael Williams, who played gay stick-up man Omar Little, Jamie Hector (Marlo Stanfield), Wendell Piece (Detective "Bunk" Moreland), Andre Royo ("Bubbles" Cousins), Sonja Sohn (Detective Kima Greggs) and Jamie Hector (Marlo Stanfield).

The $500-per-person event will be held by Judy and Ron Davenport at their home in Oak Bluffs. The Davenports are long-time Obama supporters.
