Save the Date: All Island Flu Clinic Sept. 22nd

The All-Island Flu Immunization Clinic will be held at the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School

The Martha’s Vineyard All-Island Health Agents, Dukes County and the Visiting Nurses Association will be holding an all-Island flu clinic at MVRHS on September 22nd from 8 am to noon. This clinic will only vaccinate adults and high school students.  All others please see your doctor to receive the vaccine. Those urged to attend the clinic are:

  • Pregnant women
  • People 50 years of age and older
  • Adults with certain chronic medical conditions
  • Health Care workers, EMTs, and people who live with or care for those with chronic medical conditions
  • Anybody wishing to avoid the flu this season

You can find the Registration Form and access/staging information in advance of the clinic at your local Town Hall, Council on Aging, Library, or Pharmacy.  

On the day of the clinic, remember to wear a short-sleeved shirt for easier access to your arm, bring your registration form and bring your Insurance information (including Medicare). You do not need medical insurance to qualify.  No one will be turned away.

Please note, the only vaccine available at this clinic is the Influenza vaccine. Please see your doctor for information on where you can obtain additional immunizations.
