Saying So Long

Today is my last day as Editor of Martha’s Vineyard Patch. Working in this position has been a real joy and has truly connected me to the community that I care so much about.

The past year has been full of experiences I might never have had. I have made so many new friends, learned how incredibly busy this Island is in the off-season, witnessed first-hand the caring and giving approach of Islanders and even made it through a hurricane, an election and a summer.

Martha’s Vineyard Patch will continue much the same as it has been. Kat McCourt will serve as Guest Editor as decisions are made about who will be the next editor.

I cannot express how much I appreciate all of the support that has come from everyone. You made my job important and enjoyable and I feel grateful to call this Island my home.

And now, without further ado, I say not good-bye, but most certainly, see you around!
